                        Moseley Exchange to “Run on Sun”

Community Energy Birmingham has raised £15,000 from short-term loans to install 8kW of solar PV panels at the Moseley Exchange in the centre of Moseley Village. 30 panels have now been installed on the rear extension roof, generating clean energy from the sun to power the Exchange building and save Moseley Community Energy Trust hundreds of pounds a year from their electricity bills. They are now launching a Community Share Offer to raise a further £100,000 to:

  • Add a further 40 panels on the main Exchange roof;
  • Install two further solar roofs at Ackers Adventure in Sparkbrook;
  • Commence development work on future projects;
  • Pay back our short-term lenders.
