A consultation about Birmingham City Council’s budget for 2014/15 starts on 6th December. There will also be discussions about the council’s ‘Standing Up for Birmingham’ campaign – looking at how they can work together with communities to find alternative ways of doing things.

Open Forum/ Workshop

There will be an open forum/ workshop at the Library of Birmingham on 9 December, of particular interest to community groups and organisations, but all with an interest in Birmingham are welcome.

Come and discuss ways in which the council and communities, local groups and organisations can work constructively together to support the people of Birmingham.

The council is aiming to ensure that all parties who may be interested are informed about their opportunity to contribute views and encourage input from a range of voices:

  • community groups and organisations based in, or with an interest in Birmingham
  • business organisations based in, or with an interest in Birmingham
  • partners, user forums and other consultees
